EDL: "ENHANCED" before title; flag overlapping photo ( current) or to right of data field (prior); back has machine-readable zone. Number: 1 letter followed by 12 digits; number is assigned to holder for life . Current license number includes dashes; prior doesn't. Term: 4 years, expiring on birthday. Under 21 license valid up to 4½ years and expires on 21st birthday. Provisional license expires 2 years from date of application.
